Chalet La Grange in Meribel was an old barn converted in 2004 into a lovely chalet in alpine village, with the free shuttle bus stopping just yards from the chalet to take you to Meribel centre and the pistes. During the season, you can normally ski back to the chalet, snow conditions permitting. This ski chalet makes a character home in good taste, it is roomy and cosy and has underfloor heating.The chalet, built in traditional Savoyard style, commands excellent views over the surrounding valley from windows and balconies. It has a large living/dining room with and open kitchen area with open log fire and deep, comfortable sofas. Chalet La Grange has French & UK TV freeview with DVD and CD players and free Wifi internet access.

Getting to and from the ski slopes is easy by taking Meribel's free bus, the bus stop being only 50 meters from Chalet La Grange. The free bus journey passes through Meribel Le Raffort, where you can pick up the "Olympic gondola", Meribel Village, where you can take the "Golf" high speed chair directly to the nursery areas or after just a 12 minute ride the free bus arrives at Meribel Chaudanne where there are five different lifts to start from.

There is ample free parking wsithin the village just yards from the chalet.

Chalet La Grange can accommodate up to twelve persons in six bedrooms.

We operate a no smoking policy within the chalet.

Chandon Village:

Chandon is a delightfully unspoilt village, built on the side of the valley which gets the sun from early morning to mid afternoon. It is just five minutes drive from Méribel town centre and yet could be worlds away, with listed barns, traditional bread oven and village chapel. A genuinely attractive, and more relaxing, alternative to the centre of Méribel.

Most of Chandon's fifty permanent residents are locals, families who have been here forever; in fact, in the summer some of the ladies still wash their vegetables in the village water trough. You don't get much more authentic.
