Alternatively you could hire a car:

This has proved to be a favourite option and very cost effective for smaller groups. Hire cars are normally fitted with “winter tyres” and as the roads are cleared all the time there is usually no need to use snow chains.

Car Hire is usually cheaper in France than Switzerland and generally the best deals are arranged through your airline, try the links below. When arranging car hire ensure that snow chains will be provided just in case they are needed.
