For all your equipment hire we strongly recommend that you pre-book as resort prices are higher than internet prices.

There are many equipment hire places in Meribel but we only reccommend two, Slide Candy & Meribel Ski Service, as both offer very good equipment, very reasonable prices and will deliver and collect from our chalets.

Meribel Ski Service has been established for a number of years and is run by two really friendly French guys, who both speak English. They provide good quality equipment that is fully serviced after each rental with the edges finished for best performance. Equipment can be collected from the shop or delivered for a small charge.

We highly recommend that you pre-book your ski/board lessons as early as possible, particularly for school holiday periods, check out the links below to the schools we recommend. New Generation ski school was founded in 1998 in Courchevel and has been growing ever since and in 2005 opened offices in Méribel. Magic in Motion ski school was established in 1992. This international ski school has English speaking instructors and an imaginative, colourful and animated section for the kids. This has proved to be a favourite option and very cost effective for smaller groups. Hire cars are normally fitted with “winter tyres” and as the roads are cleared all the time there is usually no need to use snow chains.
