Situated in the heart of the 3 valleys, Meribel offers an extensive network of runs for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. The 3 valleys, consisting of Courchevel, Meribel and Val Thorens/Les Menuires offers over 600 km of linked pistes going up to a height of 3230m with 80% being over 1800m and Meribel is in an ideal position to take advantage of all the 3 valleys has to offer.

Its sheltered setting means its good selection of blues and reds leading into resort are protected by the steep-sided mountains and enjoy more settled weather conditions than in the adjacent broader valleys.

For beginners, the gentle green slopes at Altiport and the nursery slopes at Rond Point make good starting points. The altiport also has 2 excellent fun runs for children and adults alike, the animal run and the inuit run, which has lots of surprises to discover to keep you interested.

For intermediates there is an almost limitless choice of runs with the majority of the three valley slopes being either blue or red, ensuring that you can ski a whole week without skiing the same run twice if you don’t want to though some of the runs are so good you will want to ski them again and again, Coombe de Vallon, George Mauduit and Jerusalem to name but a few.

For the more experienced there are plenty of challenging black runs, couloirs, mogul runs and of course off piste skiing.

The three valleys boast a fantastic lift system with modern and fast running lifts ensuring minimum queuing time and maximum ski time. Meribel also has an extensive snow cannon system with 2000 snow cannons making it a very snow sure resort.
